The total cost for one year at Bible College is close to 64,285 DKK (appr. 8,000€), excluding travel, pocket money and visa's for travel.
What are the different options for financing my stay?
Savings
This is by far the best option for financing your stay without having to think more about money. A good way to do this is by working and saving just before the start of the term. Many find that a summer season of work can cover most of their expenses.
Work and Study (EU sitizens only)
It's possible to finance all of your stay by working evenings, weekends, and holidays. If you speak Danish you have many options but even if you only speak English local hotels are always looking for cleaners. It's hard work but the minimum wage threshold in Denmark means you still get good pay.
Support from your local church, family and friends
Many churches are willing to support a stay at Bible College, as your training and development is a gain for your church. Dare to ask your pastor for help. On top of this, it's normal that family and friends to support Bible College Students financially. This can be a one-time amount or a monthly arrangement.
Loan from the bank
As a final option for financing your stay you can consider a loan from the bank or an approved overdraft. If you choose this option it's important to see this as an investment into your future that is worth the cost now.
Can I apply for any form of economic support?
Students' fund
The college has a students' fund where you (after your first semester) can apply for economic support. The support is granted on the basis of a personal application and depends, among other things, on the number of applicants.
Fund for foreign students
The college has some Government funds for foreign students. However, the funds are limited and mainly for students from third-world countries and only for students staying for minimum 12 weeks. The funds can be applied similar to the students' fund.
Options for economic support from your own country:
Germany (Südschleswig)
If you live in Südschleswig you can apply for support by Dansk Skoleforening for Sydschleswig
Greenland, Norway, Iceland, Sweden and Finland

Visa application
If you are applying from outside the European Union, be aware that it is necessary to apply for a study visa. This process cannot be started until your application has been approved by the college and all fees have been paid in advance.
The visa process will usually take at least three months. The college cannot accelerate this process.
