"Jesus was a part of my life, now He is my life."
Being attain college strips you bare, it leaves you no place to hide. Living with people 24/7, being challenged in your views, pushed out of your comfort zone, being ready to share, and to step up. It has revealed a lot to me about myself that I didn't know before. I have discovered that God has bigger plans for me than I ever imagined, and that if I rely on him, he will equip me. I have gifts in areas I never thought to explore before I came here.
Students here come from many walks of life, all with different pasts, and all at a different stage of the journey with Christ, it has been a honour to walk a part of their journey with them. To build that trust, that connection and love for each other. God created us to have fellowship with eachother and the more fellowship I have with others the more I learn about myself, and how important it is to meet people where they are at, to encourage and to speak life.
I used to think jesus was a big part of my life until I had to learn to trust him for everything. He was a big part of my life but I can now say he IS my life!
One morning I woke up and out of the blue my knee was so painful, I could barely walk, I had to drag myself up the stairs. I asked a group of friends to pray for me and they did, without hesitation. When they laid hands on me, I felt a warmth, and I was healed.the pain had just gone, completely.
I have been challenged to step out and grow in many areas. My faith has built so fast being here, seeing God at work every day so evidently. The area I have applied in my life that was not there before is prophecy. I've learnt to tune in to the Holy spirit and cast out all doubt of what he is saying. I now give people words and have prophetic dreams regularly. All from learning that I am gifted to do this, that God will use me and it is for everyone.
