Our Core Values
International Apostolic Bible College is a church based bible college. We exist to be the training arm of the Church. Shaping people for their future as servants and leaders in the Church and in this world. We believe that everyone is unique with talents, gifts and calling. We want to bring everyone closer to God and closer to their purpose in God’s kingdom.
The church is God’s reflection on earth. It is the hope of the world. Every believer needs to be rooted in a local, missional church and be in community with other believers.
Therefore, the school is Church-based.
All ministry flows out of the life of the local church, including mission, training and discipleship. All dimensions are necessary. We desire to be more prescriptive in helping students develop a philosophy of ministry that is actually working within the context of the local church in Kolding, a church that is growing. The students have the opportunity to implement in practice what they have learnt in theory. Every week students are involved in different areas of church ministry and will also participate in the Sunday services. A good number of guest speakers from Denmark and abroad are lecturing. There will be practitioners, who have had ministry success. The permanent staff are also teaching and helping the students in their development. They are also involved in local church.
Four foundational building blocks
1. Biblical approach.
The students read the Word and are taught in the word. It is applied theology. It is not philosophy, nor theology for the sake of theology. It is teaching applied to the everyday life of a Christian. The word must be rooted in our lives and is accomplishing it’s work in us.
2. Missional leadership
Before leading others, you must lead yourself. Students are trained to be able to live a disciplined life and then lead others. We train them to be servants in the local church through the gifting and capacity that God has given them. Leadership in a missional church is taught by experienced leaders from Denmark and abroad.
Every morning starts with worship. A worshipping attitude towards Jesus Christ is modeled. The students talented in music and singing will be emerged in a worship environment and get extra challenges and teaching through the programs of the school and of the local church.
4. The Holy Spirit dimension
The supernatural is meant to be natural for any believer. Therefore, the students are taught and trained in the gifts of the spirit. They become well acquainted in the prophetic that they may serve people around them.
